Collaboration with Ethiopian Educational Aid

ANDA sponsored two children to finish their middle school and high school education, and to support their families, for the next four years.  In collaboration with www.ethiopiaeducationaid.org, I had the opportunity to actually go and meet the two children, and sit with them for a few hours.  Also, I met one of the people in EEA's management, and had the opportunity to really learn more about EEA's work in Lalibela, in a more in-depth, and hands-on way.  It was an unforgettable experience.  We have collaborated with the EEA leadership, with some of their management updates regarding grantees in Addis Ababa.  ANDA also created a website for one of the people associated with EEA, see Ethiopian Tours.

While in Ethiopia, I also had the opportunity to sit and meet with the founder of Yenege Tesfa, an organization supporting the social welfare of children in Gondar.  They work in close collaboration with the municipality, and have basically created the foster care system now in place in Gondar.  Amazing work.
